WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Ensures seamless benefit operations by serving as the Workday Benefits subject matter expert, supporting over 4,000 employees and their access to critical healthcare, retirement, and wellness programs.
  • Drives system efficiency and accuracy through expert management of Workday configurations, integrations, and vendor coordination—directly impacting payroll, compliance, and employee satisfaction.
  • Protects data integrity and compliance by proactively identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in real time, helping PSA maintain its high safety and operational standards.
  • Plays a key role in strategic HR initiatives by supporting Workday upgrades, continuous improvement projects, and scalable solution..
  • Enhances the employee experience by ensuring timely and accurate benefits processing, improving system usability, and supporting user training and help desk operations.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday experience, specifically in Benefits, Absence, and Payroll modules, with a strong understanding of configuration, integrations, and vendor management.
  • Proven track record in HRIS system support, including troubleshooting, testing, and continuous improvement in a post-implementation Workday environment.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into system requirements and drive solutions from concept to execution.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams, including HR, payroll, IT, and external vendors, in both in-person and remote settings.
  • Workday Pro certification and/or technical writing experience preferred, along with familiarity with integration tools such as EIC, Core Connectors, or custom integrations.
