Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for enterprise infrastructure engineering, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient technology platforms that align with business objectives.
- Drive modernization initiatives across cloud, networking, storage, and IT operations to improve efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Partner with executive leadership, security, and application teams to design and implement enterprise-wide infrastructure solutions that enable innovation, improved customer experience, and digital transformation.
- Establish and enforce infrastructure governance, policies, and standards to ensure compliance, security, and operational excellence.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage in infrastructure strategy.
Background that Fits:
- 7-10+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering and operations, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles driving enterprise-scale initiatives.
- Proven track record of leading large, distributed teams and managing a multi-location business model across cloud, networking, data communications, and security.
- Strong expertise in B2C, Mobile, Point-of-Sale POS Architecture, PCI Compliance, and the Retail Industry.
- Expertise with developing and managing an IT service model to support the operations and focus on continuous improvements of the SLAs and KPIs .
- Proficiency in establishing strong relationships with 3 rd party technology companies, managing budgets, and identifying/implementing opportunities to improve margins within the business
- M&A experience is a plus
- Strong expertise in cloud migration, hybrid infrastructure strategy, automation, and DevOps practices to drive modernization and efficiency.
- Demonstrated success in aligning infrastructure strategy with business goals, delivering measurable improvements in performance, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership, security, and application development teams to implement enterprise-wide technology solutions.
