WHAT YOU WILL DO :
- Serve as the senior-most technology leader responsible for IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and analytics, reporting directly to the COO.
- Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership to a well-established IT department, focusing on modernization, team development, and operational excellence.
- Lead efforts to improve cybersecurity maturity across the organization, including the implementation of tools, processes, and policies aligned with NERC CIP standards.
- Oversee the development and performance of the remote monitoring center, ensuring it supports real-time operational needs and adheres to cybersecurity protocols.
- Drive analytics initiatives that empower business decision-making, particularly in market operations and performance optimization. Collaborate with executive leadership to align IT strategy with broader corporate objectives, playing a key role in ongoing M&A integration efforts and enterprise growth initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive culture within the IT organization, enabling high-performing teams across infrastructure, applications, security, and analytics.
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED
- Executive leadership experience overseeing IT, cybersecurity, and analytics functions in an industrial, energy, or highly regulated environment.
- Strong track record modernizing legacy systems and infrastructure, introducing scalable technologies, and improving team performance through people-focused leadership.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory requirements (including NERC CIP), and the ability to operationalize security standards across IT functions.
- Experience leading data and market analytics initiatives, ideally within a business reliant on real-time monitoring or trading operations.
- Proven ability to build, develop, and retain top IT talent, while creating an environment of trust, collaboration, and high accountability.
- Strong vendor and partner management experience, including oversight of complex IT service delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
