LOCATION:
  • Primarily remote in Charlotte, NC
 
Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership & Management : Lead and mentor a team of Brand Managers, providing strategic direction, setting performance expectations, and tracking KPIs to drive growth and efficiency.
  • Brand Strategy Development : Guide the creation and execution of brand strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and identifying market opportunities, consumer insights, and target audience needs.
  • Manage relationships with OEMs and franchisees, setting and executing brand strategies that align with corporate objectives and ensure consistent brand representation across all partner channels.
  • Process Optimization : Develop and maintain scalable marketing processes, ensuring best practices are followed for impactful brand initiatives across retail stores.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with the CMO and other business leaders to align on marketing priorities, brand positioning, and performance metrics to achieve measurable results.
  • Budget & Performance Oversight : Oversee marketing budgets, monitor expenses, and adjust strategies as needed based on performance data, ensuring alignment with brand goals and financial targets.
 
The Background that Fits:
  • Industry Experience : 8-10+ years of relevant marketing and brand strategy experience, with a strong background in automotive retail. (MUST have 5+ years of experience specifically in motor vehicle retail—focused on cars, not parts or accessories.)
  • Proven experience building and managing OEM relationships , with strong presentation skills and a successful track record of interfacing with executive leadership to influence strategic partnerships and drive business outcomes.
  • Analytical & Budget Management Skills: Strong analytical skills with a focus on ROI, cost efficiency, and budget management for marketing initiatives to ensure optimal performance.
  • Experience Managing Large Budgets & Direct Reports: Proven ability to manage significant marketing budgets and lead teams of direct reports, ensuring financial targets are met and team performance is optimized.
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Google Analytics for managing integrated marketing campaigns, tracking performance, analyzing consumer behavior, and driving data-informed decisions.
