- Hybrid onsite role in Charlotte, NC
- Oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure, associated systems, and operations to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain robust and secure networks and infrastructure that support all operational and analytical activities across the organization.
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect critical infrastructure and company assets from potential threats.
- Ensure adherence to NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards, integrating cybersecurity measures into compliance efforts to maintain the highest standards of security and accountability.
- Lead the company’s analytics initiatives, including market analytics and operational data analysis, to provide strategic insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee the operation and development of the remote monitoring center, optimizing performance and ensuring timely response to operational needs while maintaining cybersecurity protocols.
- Collaborate with senior executives to align IT, networks and infrastructure, cybersecurity, and analytics strategies with business objectives, driving innovation and continuous improvement across the company.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners to ensure effective delivery of solutions and services, including those related to networks, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the IT, Networks and Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Analytics departments.
- Proven experience in an executive leadership role overseeing IT, networks and infrastructure, and analytics functions, ideally within the independent power producer (IPP) or energy sector.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, IT systems management, networks and infrastructure, and regulatory compliance, including NERC CIP standards.
- Strong background in market analytics and the operation of remote monitoring centers.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Experience in the power generation industry is preferred but not required.
- BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
