  • Lead the improvement of core accounting processes, including close cycles, chart of accounts structure, and system optimization within Sage Intacct.
  • Build and stabilize a lean accounting function where your leadership will have immediate, hands-on impact across the team and daily operations.
  • Play a key role in ensuring financial clarity and operational discipline as the organization continues to scale and evolve.
  • Influence the development of scalable accounting practices that will support future expansion and long-term stability.

A BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Proven experience recruiting licensed healthcare or behavioral health professionals in high-volume, deadline-driven environments.
  • Strong track record sourcing credentialed clinical talent requiring state-specific licensure or certification compliance.
  • CPA required with progressive accounting experience, ideally including Controller or VP Controller roles within mid-sized organizations.
  • Strong history of placing hands-on accounting leaders who actively manage close processes, journal entries, and ERP system integrity.
  • Experience recruiting for lean finance teams where leadership responsibilities include both managing direct reports and executing day-to-day accounting work.
  • Ability to identify candidates who have improved or rebuilt accounting processes, including chart of accounts cleanup, system optimization, and close acceleration.
  • Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar ERP environments and the type of leaders who thrive in fast-moving, operationally focused accounting teams.
