  • A collaborative team partnering closely with HR, business leaders, field superintendents, and employees across multiple locations
  • A fast-paced payroll environment managing frequent new hires, payroll changes, and time-sensitive check requests
  • An organization with a large, multi-state employee population that includes both union and non-union workforces
  • A hands-on team focused on payroll accuracy, compliance, responsive service, and protecting confidential employee information

  • You will help ensure union employees are paid accurately and on time in a rapidly changing, high-volume environment
  • Your knowledge of union agreements, prevailing wages, and benefit requirements will help protect payroll compliance and data integrity
  • You will provide immediate support during a period of organizational growth when payroll activity is increasing
  • You will maintain and validate critical employee information, including direct deposit details, tax elections, and other payroll data
  • You will investigate employee payroll questions and resolve time-sensitive issues within established service expectations
  • You will produce post-payroll reports and support audits, balancing, and reconciliation activities
  • You will serve as a trusted payroll partner to HR, business leaders, superintendents, and employees

The Background That Fits

  • 3-4+ years of hands-on payroll administration experience in a complex or high-volume environment
  • Direct experience processing union payroll, including union benefits reporting and working with different union jobs or agreements
  • Working knowledge of prevailing wage requirements, union-benefit calculations, payroll deductions, and payroll check processing
  • Experience managing frequent hires, terminations, employee changes, and expedited or next-day check requests
  • Payroll system experience with Dayforce, Workday, or UKG; hands-on Dayforce Payroll experience is strongly preferred
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, with experience supporting payroll reporting and reconciliations
  • A detail-oriented, service-minded approach with the ability to communicate confidently across HR, operations, field leadership, and employees
