THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 3-7+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, construction, infrastructure, engineering, public-sector contracting, or a related field.
- Familiarity with public bidding, RFQs/RFPs, procurement processes, capital improvement programs, and government-funded or owner-funded infrastructure projects preferred.
- Experience working with or selling to engineering firms, general contractors, municipalities, DOT agencies, airport authorities, port authorities.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and follow-up skills.
- Proven ability to develop new relationships and convert them into qualified opportunities.
- Comfortable using CRM systems to manage leads, qualified leads, opportunities, contacts, activities, and sales forecasts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general business communication tools
