- This role is central to advancing the company's cybersecurity governance framework and creating clarity across IT and Security policy standards.
- Partner with IT and Security SMEs to extract institutional knowledge and translate it into clear, actionable, and auditable company policies.
- Create approximately 20+ net-new security policies and standards, and review and refine existing documentation for potential consolidation, relevance, and clarity.
- Standardize policy content and structure using established templates and align all documents with recognized frameworks such as NIST CSF, PCI, and SOX.
- Support the full documentation lifecycle including stakeholder interviews, drafting, version control, legal coordination, and audit readiness.
- Ensure finalized policies are ready for implementation and publication within the enterprise policy management platform (AuditBoard).
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or Documentation Specialist within cybersecurity, IT governance, or enterprise compliance programs.
- Strong understanding of information security principles and regulatory frameworks, especially NIST CSF; experience with PCI and SOX is a plus.
- Proven ability to interview and collaborate with technical subject matter experts and convert complex technical content into formal documentation.
- Experience using policy lifecycle management tools or platforms (e.g., AuditBoard, Archer, ServiceNow Policy Management) is preferred.
- Outstanding writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail and structure.
- Previous exposure to the manufacturing or consumer products industry is helpful, but not required.
