LOCATION:
- Hybrid role based out of a professional office in the SouthPark Charlotte.
- Extremely flexible hybrid schedule with presence required in the office for client meetings and select hours, typically a few mornings or afternoons a week.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
- Serves as the primary tax professional for Charlotte-based clients, handling both complex individual returns and business entity returns (S Corps, Partnerships, C Corps).
- Provides proactive client support and to business owners and high-net-worth families.
- Delivers high-volume tax preparation (250–300 returns annually across tax season, summer, and extension deadlines).
- Acts as the face of the Charlotte office — networking in the local business community to generate referrals and build long-term relationships.
- Plays a key role in expanding the firm’s footprint and supporting the owner’s goal of scaling the office to $1M revenue.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- At least 4–5 years of tax preparation experience (preferably 7–10+) with both individual and business entity returns.
- CPA or EA designation is plus.
- Experience working in a public accounting firm, tax boutique, or complex HNW/closely held business environment.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume compliance while providing advisory-level client interaction.
- Comfortable in a hybrid model: virtual work, client-facing meetings, and entrepreneurial business development.
