Why This Role Is Important

• Serve as the functional owner and go-to expert for the operations modules within D365 Finance & Operations
• Lead requirements workshops with operational stakeholders, translating business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Configure and support D365 processes across areas such as inventory management, procurement, production, warehouse management, and supply chain planning
• Develop test scripts, coordinate UAT, and validate enhancements and releases across sites
• Identify automation and process improvement opportunities that increase efficiency, inventory accuracy, and operational visibility
• Manage enhancement projects from scope through deployment and ongoing support, partnering with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to resolve issues

The Background That Fits

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Solutions Architect, or similar role supporting manufacturing or supply chain systems
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or AX), including configuration of operations-focused modules
• Strong working knowledge of processes such as procurement, inventory, production planning, warehouse operations, and order fulfillment
• Proven experience writing functional specifications, documenting process flows, and leading UAT and release activities
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to operational stakeholders and manage competing priorities across sites and business units
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Information Systems, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
