Why This Role Is Important
  • Oversee and optimize supply chain functions currently managed by third-party partners, helping build the foundation for future in-house capabilities
  • Lead efforts across replenishment, demand planning, forecasting, and inventory optimization to improve performance
  • Drive vendor accountability and performance management across major third-party logistics partners
  • Influence working capital, product availability, and overall network efficiency at scale
  • Identify gaps and implement process improvements across a growing, evolving supply chain organization
  • Support major initiatives including new distribution centers, transformation projects, and technology deployments
  • Act as a strategic partner to leadership, helping guide decisions through data and insights
 
The Background That Fits
  • 4–8+ years of experience in end-to-end supply chain, ideally within retail, CPG, food service, or distribution environments
  • Experience working with or alongside third-party logistics providers (3PLs) or distributor networks
  • Strong foundation in demand planning, forecasting, replenishment, and inventory management
  • Proven ability to analyze data and make actionable recommendations (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools)
  • Demonstrated success in fast-paced, ambiguous, or build-from-scratch environments
  • Leadership experience managing direct reports or influencing cross-functional teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive initiatives forward
