- The organization is evolving its procurement function to better manage supplier risk, ensure compliance, and strengthen supply chain resilience across a global and highly regulated environment.
- Currently, supplier risk processes, data visibility, and governance require further structure and integration into procurement workflows. Without a consistent and scalable approach, the organization faces risk related to supplier continuity, regulatory compliance, ESG requirements, and operational disruptions.
- This consultant will play a critical role in establishing and embedding a procurement risk management framework, improving supplier risk visibility, and enabling more proactive, data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- Deep expertise in procurement, supply chain, or third-party risk management within global or regulated environments
- Strong experience implementing or operating within supplier risk frameworks (ISO 31000, COSO, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with supplier due diligence, risk assessments, and business continuity planning
- Experience working with risk intelligence platforms (e.g., Resilinc, Everstream, RapidRatings, Dun & Bradstreet, EcoVadis)
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA) and data visualization tools (Power BI or similar)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate risk insights into actionable recommendations
- Executive communication presence with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Proven ability to operate in complex, matrixed environments and drive execution across Procurement, Legal, Compliance, and IT Security
