WHERE THIS ROLE IS LOCATED:
  • Onsite role in Mooresville, NC – Not hybrid or remote

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Assist Site Controller in overseeing the month end closing process
    Perform financial accounting responsibilities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, analysis and review of financial statements

  • Newly created role designed to support growth and relieve leadership bandwidth
  • Ownership of multi-state payroll operations for hourly and salaried employees
  • Key partner to managers and field leaders driving consistent timekeeping, approvals, and compliance
  • Track and reconcile petty cash requests from Project Managers, ensuring proper approvals from Department Directors.
  • Monitor and reconcile balances in coordination with Accounting to ensure compliance and accountability.
  • Process employee credit card reimbursements, ensuring compliance with company spend policies.
  • Ensure payroll and expense processes comply with state and federal regulations, as well as internal policies.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Proven experience owning multi-state W-2 payroll in a growing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll compliance, taxes, garnishments, and reimbursements
  • Experience with modern payroll platforms (ADP, Paychex, UKG, Kronos, or similar)
  • Organized, accountable operator comfortable working independently and partnering cross-functionally
