WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and reduce cycle times through smart use of technology and data tools.
- Ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
- Assist in ERP upgrades, testing, training, and documentation to optimize ERP functionality and streamline accounting workflows.
- Participate in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities with a focus on automation and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and schedules, worksheets, and narratives, including “Budget vs Actual” variance reports and analyzing and documenting significant variances.
- Partner cross-functionally to support audits, budgeting, and special projects involving data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Update and document policies, procedures, and workflow for assigned areas of responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BS degree in Accounting, Economics w/ relevant experience, or Finance.
- 2-4 years of experience in Accounting and Financial Reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced in Excel skills (VLOOKUP and pivot).
- Strong accounting and analytical skills.
- Use of Sage Intacct and Paycor a plus.
