WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:  
  • Analyze financial statement information to identify book vs. tax adjustments
  • Prepare federal and state corporate income tax workpapers.
  • Assist with the consolidation aspects of the Company’s federal income tax return.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of S Corporation and partnership tax returns.
  • Prepare quarterly taxable income calculations for purposes of making estimated tax deposits.
  • Review international tax packages prepared by the Company’s local country controllers.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting of key income tax metrics.
  • Assist with income tax audits.
  • Assist with the preparation of the company’s tax provision in accordance with ASC 740
  • Scenario planning and modeling to assist with business unit expansion or restructuring initiatives.
  • Research tax issues and draft memorandum.
BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • The position requires someone with a solid foundation in U.S. corporate and partnership federal income tax issues and concepts.
  • 3-4 years of public accounting or large company in-house corporate tax experience
  • Ability to juggle concurrent projects and smoothly move from project to project with little advance notice.
  • Desire to work in a flexible team-based environment.
  • Willing to get involved in ad-hoc planning projects.
