WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- Acts as the analytical bridge between Finance, Sales, and Operations to ensure revenue data is accurate, actionable, and scalable across the business
- Owns revenue reporting, pipeline analytics, forecasting, pacing analysis, and key commercial KPIs used by leadership to drive business decisions
- Designs and develops reporting infrastructure within Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools, including building underlying data models and reporting logic
- Ensures CRM, ERP, and reporting platform data integrity through ongoing data hygiene, validation, and sales team accountability
- Proactively analyzes dashboards and commercial reporting trends to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable revenue insights for leadership
- Supports pricing analysis, deal evaluation, margin analysis, and customer profitability reporting to improve revenue performance and decision-making
- Translates commercial leadership directives and ideal customer profile (ICP) strategies into targeted prospecting lists using tools such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar platforms
- Tracks sales team activity, pipeline progression, and performance against target account lists through reporting and analytics
- Partners cross-functionally with commercial leadership to improve forecasting accuracy, revenue predictability, and overall go-to-market effectiveness
- Plays a key role in scaling and improving commercial reporting processes, including integration of new business units, reporting enhancements, and operational efficiencies
- 5-10 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Commercial FP&A, Sales Operations, or Commercial Finance
- Experience in B2B services, environmental services, industrial, construction, or field-services environments is a plus
- Financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skill set
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred but not required) and ERP platforms (NetSuite or similar)
- Familiarity with Power BI, Excel, and data-driven reporting environments
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate insights to senior leaders
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving organization
