WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- Responsible for leading global consolidations and technical accounting functions.
- This role oversees the monthly global consolidation process, intercompany accounting, equity method investments, technical accounting research, accounting policy governance, and key internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
- The Senior Manager partners closely with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Internal Audit, SEC Reporting, and international finance teams to support complex transactions, business initiatives, and continuous improvement of the Company's accounting processes.
- Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Controller.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual global consolidation process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee consolidation of domestic and international subsidiaries, including ownership structure changes and foreign currency translation.
- Review consolidation journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Lead technical accounting research for complex transactions, new business initiatives, and emerging accounting standards.
- Prepare and review technical accounting memoranda supporting accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA required.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or public company experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, consolidations, intercompany accounting, and equity method accounting.
- Experience leading technical accounting analyses and working with external auditors.
- Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and project management skills.
