- Acts as a bridge between HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and external partners throughout the conversion and optimization process.
- Supports the organization's broader goal of leveraging Workday as a strategic platform rather than a transactional system.
- Plays a key role in identifying automation opportunities, improving efficiencies, and reducing manual processes.
- Directly impacts employee experience by ensuring payroll and benefits operations run accurately and effectively.
- Deep hands-on experience supporting Workday Payroll, Payroll Accounting, and Benefits modules.
- Strong understanding of payroll operations, payroll taxes, retro pay processing, deductions, and earnings configuration.
- Experience supporting Workday integrations, EIBs, data loads, testing, and system configuration activities.
- Knowledge of Benefits, Open Enrollment, Absence, and Time Tracking functionality within Workday.
- Experience participating in payroll implementations, payroll conversions, or major Workday enhancement projects.
- Exposure to international payroll environments, multi-currency operations, or UK/Canada payroll processes is highly preferred.
- Self-starter with strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and process improvement capabilities.
