WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Partner with accounting leadership on a variety of high-impact accounting and finance initiatives.
- Support technical accounting, financial reporting, audit, and broader financial-readiness efforts.
- Help work through complex accounting matters and provide clarity around financial activity.
- Support broader projects focused on strengthening processes, improving financial visibility, and preparing the organization for continued growth.
- Take ownership of accounting questions and projects that require research, critical thinking, and problem solving.
- Gain exposure beyond the traditional close cycle while building a deeper understanding of the business and its financial operations.
A BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- Approximately 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience, with 3–4 years being an ideal range.
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred, with Big 4 or another larger public accounting firm particularly relevant.
- Strong technical accounting foundation and understanding of GAAP.
- Actively progressing toward CPA completion with a demonstrated commitment to earning the certification.
- Naturally analytical, curious, and comfortable digging into the numbers to understand the bigger picture.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate, research, and work through accounting questions.
- Comfortable operating in an evolving environment where responsibilities can extend beyond a narrowly defined role.
