WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

- Provide critical onsite oversight in Columbia as the customer’s manufacturing facility gets off the ground
- Serve as the key liaison between the customer, general contractors, electrical contractors, subcontractors, internal field teams, sales leadership, and executive stakeholders
- Manage program performance, financial oversight, schedule coordination, issue resolution, risk management, resource planning, reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder communication
- Help establish repeatable program management frameworks, SOPs, reporting structures, governance models, and operational best practices in an environment that is still early in its program management maturity
- Directly impact customer satisfaction, program profitability, delivery execution, job-site coordination, and the long-term maturity of the company’s program management capability
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- Proven experience leading large, complex construction-related programs or strategic customer accounts within security, low-voltage, electrical, construction, manufacturing facilities, B2B field services, or adjacent field-based industries
- Strong understanding of construction project management, including experience working with general contractors, electrical contractors, subcontractors, customer stakeholders, and internal operational teams
- Experience overseeing multiple projects within a larger program structure, ideally in environments involving new construction, facility buildouts, multi-phase delivery, or large-scale customer programs
- Ability to manage program-level scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, dependencies, resource coordination, reporting, forecasting, and financial oversight
- Strong onsite leadership presence with the ability to be the eyes and ears on the ground, anticipate issues, coordinate moving pieces, and keep the broader program aligned
- Strong communicator and relationship builder with the emotional intelligence, business acumen, and presence to influence across customers, contractors, field teams, leadership, and cross-functional partners
- Experience building or improving program management processes, SOPs, governance models, reporting structures, and best practices in a fast-moving or lower-maturity program environment
- PMP, PgMP, CSPM, PSP, or similar certifications are highly preferred, though demonstrated construction program leadership, customer-facing delivery experience, and strong project management discipline are most important
