WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
- Perform margin and profitability analysis on large datasets by product, customer, and geographic dimensions, using tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor pricing, where possible.
- Translate analytics findings into effective Pricing initiatives to grow margins with risk management of top-line revenue.
- Translate analytics into dynamic tools usable by stakeholders to better understand their business and easily identify Pricing and behavioral margin opportunities (e.g., Power BI dashboarding).
- Conduct scenario modeling to assess the impact of pricing changes.
- Keep informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends
- Track pricing performance and key pricing metrics (e.g., price realization, margin erosion) for senior management.
- Monitor and maintain pricing data in ERP systems and trackers, resolving discrepancies and ensuring data integrity.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or in a related field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or sales operations, preferably in a corporate environment.
