THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field (AICP certification preferred or required at the Senior level).
  • Experience in local government, land development review, long-range planning, or transportation planning.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with elected officials, developers, staff, and the public.
  • Familiarity with GIS tools, zoning ordinances, development codes, and technical reports.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate across departments, and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Supervisor experience and grant management experience are a plus at higher levels.
