  • Collaborative People Operations function supporting continued organizational growth and a meaningful volume of hiring

  • Growing Talent Acquisition team currently consisting of multiple recruiters, with additional team expansion anticipated

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead, coach, and develop a growing team of recruiters while establishing clear expectations, hiring priorities, and performance goals

  • Partner with business leaders and People Operations to forecast hiring demand, prioritize searches, and create scalable recruiting strategies

  • Remain hands-on within recruiting as the function grows, supporting select corporate searches and personally leading director-level and executive searches

  • Own key Talent Acquisition metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline conversion, and recruiting performance reporting

  • Evaluate the current recruiting technology environment and help determine the long-term ATS strategy

  • Lead configuration and continuous improvement of recruiting workflows including pipelines, interview processes, scorecards, approvals, offers, sourcing workflows, and reporting

  • Partner with technology and HR teams to ensure clean integrations and data flow between the ATS, UKG Ready, onboarding, and other HR systems

  • Build structured recruiting processes that can support both professional hiring and higher-volume recruiting environments

  • Establish consistent recruiting documentation, SOPs, reporting standards, and hiring-manager training

  • Help create a Talent Acquisition function that can scale with continued organizational growth

BACKGROUND PROFILE

  • 5+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience with demonstrated leadership or team-lead responsibility

  • Experience managing, mentoring, or developing recruiters while remaining comfortable operating as a hands-on recruiter when needed

  • Strong understanding of recruiting operations, processes, metrics, and technology

  • Hands-on ATS administration or configuration experience, ideally within Greenhouse

  • Experience building or improving recruiting pipelines, scorecards, workflows, reporting, approvals, and sourcing processes

  • Exposure to ATS implementations, migrations, integrations, or technology evaluations is highly valuable

  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and recruiting-to-onboarding integrations; UKG Ready experience is a plus

  • Experience recruiting across multiple functions such as Sales, Finance, HR, and corporate leadership

  • Comfortable partnering directly with senior executives and challenging or influencing hiring managers when appropriate

  • Experience supporting a distributed or multi-state workforce is preferred

  • Transportation, logistics, supply chain, or related industry experience is helpful but not required

  • Best suited for someone excited to step into a broader leadership role while still staying close to the work and building the function alongside the team

LOCATION

  • Remote within the United States

  • Charlotte, NC candidates are especially attractive but not required

  • Occasional travel may be required to locations including Charlotte, Chicago, Boise, or Atlanta
