THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

  • Join AccruePartners as a consulting HR resource supporting a confidential, family-owned distribution company undergoing organizational transition and HR modernization.
  • The client operates 22 branch locations with a centralized support office and is currently facing HR capacity challenges due to recent resignations.
  • You will partner directly with the head of HR to stabilize recruiting, onboarding, and people operations while supporting the implementation of new systems and processes.

LOCATION

  • REMOTE
  • First two weeks on the job will be spent on-site in Connecticut.

  • This role is critical in stabilizing and professionalizing the HR function during a period of operational growth and change.
  • With recruiting responsibilities now dispersed across 22 branch locations, the organization needs a central HR leader who can bring structure, consistency, and speed to hiring, onboarding, and employee support.
  • This role will streamline how talent enters the organization, ensure compliance and accuracy during HRIS transition from Paycom to Paylocity, and strengthen partnerships with managers to enhance retention and workforce readiness.
  • By introducing best practices and improving process flow, this role will create a more scalable, efficient HR model that supports current operations and future expansion.

BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • 8+ years as an HR Generalist, HRBP, or Senior Talent Acquisition professional with blended experience in recruiting, onboarding, and core HR operations
  • Experience supporting distributed or field-based teams (distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or similar industries preferred)
  • Strong HRIS experience — Paycom, Paylocity, or multiple systems with proven adaptability
  • Skilled in coaching managers, handling employee relations, and guiding consistent HR practices
  • Demonstrated success in interim or consulting roles — proactive, solutions-driven, able to create clarity in ambiguous environments
  • Comfortable balancing hands-on execution with process improvement and system transition support
