WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Coordinates the full budgeting cycle and long-term financial projections in alignment with organizational strategy

  • Builds and maintains financial models to forecast the impact of business decisions and investment opportunities

  • Delivers monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and trends

  • Collaborates with business leaders to support planning and provide financial insights that drive operational improvements

  • Investigates variances in financial performance and recommends corrective actions

  • Supports internal reporting system enhancements and improvements in analytics and key metrics

  • Contributes to strategic planning and investment decisions while ensuring compliance with government regulations

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance required; MBA preferred

  • 5+ years of progressive financial planning and analysis experience, ideally in a manufacturing or product-based environment

  • Experience with government contract accounting is required

  • High proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office; familiarity with D365 and COGNOS is a strong plus

  • Strong foundation in cost and financial accounting principles and internal control systems

  • Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills; ability to convey complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders

  • Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
