LOCATION

  • AccruePartners is located in Charlotte, NC. We are a Carolina's focused firm with national reach.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Charlotte, NC, in the AccruePartners office.


WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • The Senior Director of Client Success will be a key strategic leader within AccruePartners, responsible for driving high-level business development and relationship management efforts across our industry sectors. 
  • This role is instrumental in expanding the firm’s market presence by leading complex client acquisition strategies, fostering C-suite relationships, and shaping solution-based engagements that align with client transformation goals.
  • With a focus on securing high-impact Interim placements, Executive Search engagements, and Project Consulting Solutions (PCS), this leader steers growth across a defined portfolio of strategic accounts—positioning AccruePartners as a trusted partner and value creator in Carolina’s market.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CLIENT STRATEGY & GROWTH

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across interim, direct hire, and project consulting solutions.
  • Lead strategic conversations with mid-market and enterprise clients to understand needs and position AccruePartners’ value proposition.
  • Conduct 10-12 face-to-face client visits weekly, with a mix of existing client development and new prospecting.
  • Drive client satisfaction and retention through business reviews, customized solutions, and consultative selling.
  • Lead 2-4 networking events and 1 client entertainment activity monthly to enhance market visibility.


PRACTICE LEADERSHIP & EXECUTION

  • Partnering with the Project Consulting Solutions team, oversee a portfolio of 5-6 active projects and maintain a pipeline of 20+ opportunities continuously.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality execution, resource allocation, and budget compliance.
  • Collaborate with our divisional recruiting teams; monitor both proactive and just-in-time recruiting service delivery aligned with AccruePartners’ business systems.
  • Support the EVP of Project Consulting Solutions in developing best practices and expansion of our solution portfolio,
  • Reporting to the EVP of Client Success, assist in the development of sales processes and governance while partnering with and mentoring other Client Success team members.
TALENT & TEAM DEVELOPMENT
  • Conduct weekly interviews with project leaders and consultants; build strong consulting teams aligned with client needs.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, driving a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Facilitate communication across internal divisions to optimize client pursuit and delivery.
  • Operational Excellence & Reporting
  • Maintain detailed client and opportunity records in Bullhorn; ensure data integrity and usage of 30-day action plans.
  • Provide weekly reporting on KPIs, pipeline updates, and strategic progress.
  • Lead LinkedIn branding efforts including: job posts, market insights, and thought leadership content.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, client services, or consulting, with 3+ years in a leadership or client-facing account management role.
  • Proven track record of new business development, account growth, and strategic delivery.
  • Strong understanding of full-desk recruiting and consultative selling methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Experience managing P&L or contributing to revenue targets and forecasting.
  • High proficiency in CRM (Bullhorn preferred), LinkedIn, and MS Office tools.
