- Serve as a key driver of cost optimization by leading contract negotiations and identifying savings opportunities across materials and services
- Ensure continuity of production by managing supplier performance, inventory levels, and material availability
- Play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency by aligning procurement with production schedules and demand planning
- Strengthen supplier relationships to improve quality, delivery timelines, and long-term partnership value
- Support inventory management strategies to prevent stockouts and optimize working capital
- Act as a central point of coordination across purchasing, operations, and leadership to meet business and customer demands
- 4-7 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience sourcing raw materials such as steel, metals, or components supporting production operations strongly preferred
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage vendors, and drive cost savings initiatives
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred, but similar systems acceptable)
- Strong understanding of supplier management, pricing analysis, and procurement best practices
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, plant-based environment with shifting priorities and production demands
