WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
- Prepare and review complex journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Participate in month-end and year-end close processes.
- Analyze financial statements and provide insights and recommendations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting-related issues.
- Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for financial fluctuations.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in accounting or finance role, with a focus on general ledger and financial reporting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze complex financial data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
