WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Prepare and review complex journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reports.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end close processes.
  •  Analyze financial statements and provide insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting-related issues.
  •  Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for financial fluctuations.
  •  Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
  •  Mentor and train junior accounting staff.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
 
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in accounting or finance role, with a focus on general ledger and financial reporting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with financial regulations.
