WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • General ledger & close activities working with journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare internal financial reports and schedules for leadership and auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and U.S. GAAP.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing requested documentation.
  • Assist in onboarding acquired companies into the accounting system.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience; public accounting, multi-entity, construction, distribution, manufacturing, or specialty contracting industry experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative and proactive with excellent communication skills.
