WHY THE ROLE IS IMPORTANT
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports, including general ledger entries, cash flow statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes for multiple entities, ensuring accurate consolidations
  • Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective measures
  • Generate and analyze consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
  • Manage accounting operations for multiple entities, including intercompany transactions and eliminations
  • Oversee consolidation processes to produce accurate and comprehensive financial reporting
  • Partner with field accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in accounting and finance
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel functions
