WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON
- Executing risk and controls assessments across various business units and operational functions
- Maintaining and enhancing the enterprise risk register and supporting ongoing risk identification and classification activities
- Aggregating and rationalizing risk-related data from Legal, HR, Finance, IT, and other operational teams to support reporting and analysis
- Partnering with line-of-business leaders to evaluate risk exposures and align risk management activities with business objectives
- Supporting development and refinement of risk reporting processes and dashboards used by senior leadership and risk committees
- Collaborating with stakeholders to help operationalize the ERM framework and drive consistent risk management practices across the enterprise
- 4+ years of experience in enterprise risk, operational risk, internal controls, or ERM-related roles within an insurance company, carrier, MGA, or brokerage environment
- Hands-on experience performing risk and controls assessments, maintaining risk registers, or supporting ERM frameworks
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to synthesize complex information, identify risk themes, and support data-driven risk reporting
- Experience working cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Finance, HR, or IT stakeholders in a corporate environment
- Familiarity with GRC tools (e.g., AuditBoard, Archer, MetricStream, ServiceNow GRC) or similar risk management platforms is preferred
- Self-starter who is comfortable operating in a build-and-execute environment with evolving processes and a high degree of autonomy
