LOCATION
- Onsite in McKinney, Texas
- National travel as needed
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Serve as a trusted HR business partner and coach to general managers and dealership leaders across assigned locations.
- Manage a high volume of employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, performance concerns, and risk-sensitive situations.
- Provide leaders with thoughtful guidance, practical recommendations, and a clear understanding of potential risks while respecting their ownership of business decisions.
- Build credibility and trusted relationships within a decentralized, owner-led organization through a consultative, solutions-oriented approach.
- Deliver recurring training across assigned locations and maintain a consistent on-site presence throughout the year.
- Partner closely with the on-site HR Coordinator to support employees, leadership teams, and day-to-day dealership operations.
- Respond promptly to employee and leadership needs while balancing competing priorities across a population of approximately 1,000 employees.
- Travel to assigned locations for investigations, training, and other employee matters requiring an in-person presence.
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED
- HR business partner or HR management experience supporting leaders within a multi-site, operationally complex environment.
- Strong experience managing employee relations matters and conducting thorough workplace investigations.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and advise leaders without relying on a directive or approval-based approach.
- Sound judgment, diplomacy, and the ability to navigate sensitive situations while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
- Strong communication, responsiveness, organization, and workload-management skills.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in McKinney and travel regularly to assigned locations.
- SHRM certification or the willingness to obtain certification
