- Position is part of the Company’s finance and risk management team for contract administration, deadline tracking, document management, title coordination, project leases, project finance, and closing documentation.
- Serve as the internal liaison between business stakeholders and a long-tenured external legal team, ensuring alignment across legal and operational priorities.

- Acts as a critical bridge between the development team and external legal counsel, helping the business navigate legal and commercial considerations in real time.
- Ensures transactions progress efficiently by reviewing contracts, advising on standard forms and provisions, and coordinating approvals and execution.
- Supports a wide range of real estate transactions, including leases, purchase and disposition agreements, loan documents, cross-access agreements, easements, restrictions, and select construction contracts.
- Plays a key role in both production and risk management while helping protect the Company's interests across a growing portfolio of development and investment projects.
Location
- Onsite, five days per week in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, NC.
The Background That Fits
- 5-10 years of experience supporting commercial real estate transactions within a law firm, commercial real estate developer, investment firm, REIT, or corporate real estate organization.
- Direct experience managing contracts and legal documentation related to acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, development, and construction projects.
- Strong understanding of purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, easements, title commitments, surveys, entity documents, and closing documentation.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting critical deadlines.
- Experience serving as a liaison between attorneys, lenders, title companies, developers, and internal business stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to assess risk, balance legal protection with deal progression, and communicate effectively with detail-oriented stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Paralegal certificate
