The Background That Fits
- Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
- 5+ years of experience focused on commercial real estate law.
- Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, leasing, development agreements, easements, title matters, and entity structuring.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and contract review experience.
- Ability to provide practical business-oriented legal advice rather than purely technical legal guidance.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with executives, business leaders, lenders, developers, and external counsel.
- Strong commercial judgment with the ability to balance legal protection and business objectives.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently as an in-house legal resource.
