WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

This role is critical in helping the organization successfully execute key projects in a timely, organized, and strategic manner.

The Project Manager will be responsible for building proactive project plans, defining scope, managing schedules and budgets, tracking progress, and ensuring teams remain aligned to clear goals and deliverables.

This person will help identify risks, communicate updates, manage scope changes, prepare project reporting, and provide leadership with clear insight into project performance and potential roadblocks.

The role requires someone who can lead meetings, hold teams accountable, work closely with technology and business partners, and ensure projects remain aligned to broader company strategies.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

Bachelor’s degree required.

5+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years within a PMO or formal project management environment.

Strong experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, deliverables, risks, issues, and stakeholder communication.

Ability to build clear, thoughtful project plans that tell the story of the initiative and drive execution.

Experience working with technology teams and cross-functional business stakeholders.

Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare updates, present progress, escalate risks, and provide interpretation around project data.

Strong fluency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience with SharePoint and project management tools such as Smartsheet or similar platforms.

Ability to quickly learn internal systems and act as a trusted resource for tools and processes used across projects.

A hands-on, accountable project leader who can operate with structure, urgency, and professionalism in a fast-moving environment.
