  • Step into a client-facing Project Manager role with direct ownership of assigned accounts, daily operations, and project execution.

  • Report directly to the COO and lead a team of Assistant Project Managers who handle much of the day-to-day contractor and field coordination.

  • Join an organization actively expanding across North Carolina and into new markets, with significant additional hiring expected as the business continues to scale.

  • Work in a fast-paced, energetic environment where performance, accountability, resourcefulness, and the ability to solve problems quickly are highly valued.

LOCATION

  • Charlotte, NC

  • Office-based position with some local site visits as needed.

WHAT THEY OFFER YOU

  • Join a rapidly scaling organization with significant growth occurring across existing and new markets.

  • Performance-driven environment where strong performers can take on greater responsibility and continue growing with the business.

  • Opportunity to directly manage client relationships and lead a team rather than functioning solely as a field-based Project Manager.

  • Corporate vehicle provided.

  • High level of ownership and autonomy over your assigned clients, projects, scheduling, and operational execution.

  • Opportunity to build your career alongside an organization expecting continued expansion and additional leadership needs as new markets open.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Own the execution of a high volume of daily service projects, ensuring jobs are properly staffed, scheduled, completed, and delivered to client expectations.

  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for assigned clients, providing proactive communication around schedules, quality concerns, changes, and unexpected issues.

  • Lead Assistant Project Managers responsible for contractor onboarding, availability, field support, contractor pay, and job redos.

  • Manage a constantly changing project pipeline where same-day work, contractor cancellations, and unexpected client requests require quick decision-making and resourcefulness.

  • Protect project margins by reviewing job scope and quotes, coordinating resources effectively, and minimizing callbacks and redos.

  • Be directly accountable for key performance metrics including client revenue growth, job completion, and quality of completed work.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Project management or operations experience within a high-volume, service-oriented environment where priorities and schedules can change quickly.

  • Backgrounds within general contracting, production homebuilding, multifamily or commercial property management, maintenance services, or other blue-collar service organizations can translate well.

  • Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to manage expectations, solve problems, and provide proactive updates.

  • Experience leading or coordinating field teams, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, or other distributed workforces.

  • Highly resourceful and comfortable finding solutions when crews cancel, schedules change, or unexpected operational problems arise.

  • Comfortable operating in a demanding, high-volume environment with direct accountability for results.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage scheduling, job completion, staffing capacity, supplies, payroll approvals, and multiple competing priorities.

  • Construction, painting, or cleaning expertise is not required; the organization is open to transferable operational backgrounds and can teach the technical aspects of the services.
