A highly collaborative project delivery environment partnering across Engineering, Project Controls, Estimating, Construction Management, Supply Chain, Legal, EHS, QA/QC, Operations, Regulatory, Security, and other internal stakeholders.

A team responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects with a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule, cost, risk, and successful execution.

An organization with mature project management standards, governance processes, and structured reporting expectations.

An opportunity to serve as a key project leader coordinating internal teams, contractors, vendors, and field resources across the full project lifecycle.

LOCATION

Based in the St. Petersburg, Largo, or Clearwater, Florida area.

Primarily office-based with approximately 20% field exposure for project walkdowns and site-related activities.

Some local driving is required to support project and field needs.

WHAT THEY OFFER YOU

The opportunity to manage a portfolio of infrastructure and distribution-related projects within a large-scale, highly established organization.

Exposure to the full project lifecycle, including planning, engineering, estimating, procurement, construction, field execution, commissioning, and closeout.

Direct partnership with experienced Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, Supply Chain, Operations, EHS, and other functional teams.

A hands-on project management role with meaningful ownership over scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, safety, and stakeholder communication.

The opportunity to work across both office and field environments while supporting projects that directly impact operational reliability and infrastructure performance.

A structured project environment with established governance, reporting, and project management standards.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

Provides leadership and coordination across multiple low-to-moderate risk projects from initial planning through execution and closeout.

Ensures projects are delivered within approved scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality expectations.

Serves as a central point of coordination between Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, Estimating, Supply Chain, contractors, field teams, and business stakeholders.

Supports the development and execution of project plans, schedules, budgets, procurement strategies, risk plans, communication plans, and change management processes.

Leads project meetings, stakeholder communication, status reporting, and ongoing coordination to keep project teams aligned and execution on track.

Helps identify project risks, resolve issues, manage competing priorities, and ensure field and construction activities remain aligned with project objectives.

Supports successful infrastructure delivery through disciplined planning, strong stakeholder management, and consistent project oversight.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

Experience managing infrastructure, distribution, construction, engineering, utility, telecommunications, power, or other field-based capital projects.

Strong project management experience across scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, safety, and project execution.

Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, Operations, Supply Chain, contractors, vendors, and field personnel.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain accountability for project milestones, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.

Experience with project planning, estimating, cost tracking, scheduling, change management, risk management, procurement, and contractor coordination.

Comfortable leading project meetings, preparing status updates, communicating with stakeholders, and escalating risks or issues when necessary.

Field and construction exposure strongly preferred, including site visits, project walkdowns, inspections, or coordination with field crews.

Experience in distribution, outside plant, electrical infrastructure, telecommunications, utility construction, or similar infrastructure environments is highly relevant.

Strong leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Comfortable working in a matrixed environment and providing day-to-day direction and coordination to project team members.

PMP or other formal project management training is helpful, but hands-on project delivery experience is most important.
