WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Help ensure employees across the organization are paid accurately and on time.
  • Maintain payroll records and serve as a key liaison between field locations and the corporate support office.
  • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, calculation errors, W-2 questions, and employee payroll inquiries.
  • Support payroll requests through an established ticketing system while providing a high level of internal customer service.
  • Protect sensitive employee information while maintaining strong controls, confidentiality, and compliance throughout the payroll process.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • 4+ years of payroll experience with a strong understanding of payroll principles, taxes, deductions, and payroll processing.
  • Experience supporting multiple payroll cycles and working within a high-volume or multi-location organization.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain a high degree of data accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively under deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/training in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with Workday is highly preferred, along with proficiency across Microsoft Office applications.
