WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- Help ensure employees across the organization are paid accurately and on time.
- Maintain payroll records and serve as a key liaison between field locations and the corporate support office.
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, calculation errors, W-2 questions, and employee payroll inquiries.
- Support payroll requests through an established ticketing system while providing a high level of internal customer service.
- Protect sensitive employee information while maintaining strong controls, confidentiality, and compliance throughout the payroll process.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- 4+ years of payroll experience with a strong understanding of payroll principles, taxes, deductions, and payroll processing.
- Experience supporting multiple payroll cycles and working within a high-volume or multi-location organization.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain a high degree of data accuracy.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively under deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/training in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with Workday is highly preferred, along with proficiency across Microsoft Office applications.
