WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of teammate payroll, including managing deductions and complying with all tax regulations

  • Audit workflows related to new hires, terminations, transfers, rehires, and leaves of absence for accuracy and completeness; escalate discrepancies to the Associate Resource Center

  • Review and process final Paid Time Off (PTO) balances

  • Review and upload payroll data received from dealership partners

  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from management, Associate Resource Centers, dealership personnel, third-party vendors, and teammates

  • Prepare and process manual payments, including gross-to-net calculations and proper tax application in accordance with policy

  • Support the payroll management team to ensure smooth and timely processing of all teammate payments

  • Contribute to special projects and process improvements as assigned by management

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience in a multi-state, high-volume environment (3,000+ associates)

  • Knowledge of involuntary deductions such as garnishments, child support, and tax levies

  • Familiarity with payroll tax regulations and best-in-class payroll practices

  • UKG Pro experience preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required

  • FPC or CPP certification strongly preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of operating effectively within a shared services environment
