WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- Analyze multi-state wage reporting for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with month-end close procedures
- Perform weekly review and matching of payroll items as well as non-matching items and reconciling journal entries to the correct amounts
- Answer questions related to payroll tax and payroll banking
- Audit union employee data, submitting monthly reports and required payments to each Local union
- Ad hoc duties as assigned
BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- 3+ years of Payroll experience with emphasis in Payroll Accounting and Payroll Tax
- Union experience preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with Workday payroll and reporting tools
- Multi-state full cycle payroll experience in high volume fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree required, or commensurate experience
