Details:
- Contract to hire role
- Onsite in the South Charlotte area during contract term, hybrid (3 days a week in office) once converted
- Manage legal systems and documentation, including CSC and UCC Entity Management Systems, document requests, hard copy filings, and mail distribution.
- Support General Counsel and senior legal staff with administrative tasks, legal document preparation, and scheduling needs.
- Handle law firm invoicing, data tracking, and verification of financial documents with attention to accuracy.
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and logistical support for legal department activities and transactions.
- Maintain efficient organization of legal files and ensure timely processing and distribution of legal correspondence and documents.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 4-5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in a transactional practice within a large law firm
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills; able to work calmly under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, legal document comparison software, and handling long, complex contracts and tables.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and follow detailed instructions.
- High attention to detail in proofreading, formatting, and performing basic arithmetic; able to work independently with a strong work ethic.
- Notary Public certification or ability to obtain is required
