WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- Serve as a Power User and technical lead for the company’s incentive compensation management platform
- Design, configure, and maintain models and workflows within Varicent to ensure accurate and efficient commission processing
- Collaborate with HR, IT, Sales, and Finance to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Support the ongoing evolution of incentive programs through data modeling, logic development, and reporting enhancements
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities within the commissions infrastructure
- Partner closely with a senior commissions expert to drive strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with business goals
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- 3 years of hands-on experience with incentive compensation tools such as Varicent, Xactly, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of data modeling, business logic, and workflow configuration
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with logical functions and formulas
- Experience writing basic queries and transforming business requirements into technical specifications
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
