  • Plays a key role in long-term planning for life-limited and time-controlled components, aligning supply with maintenance schedules and demand variability
  • Serves as the central point between maintenance, stores, procurement, finance, and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) operations, requiring strong communication and decision-making
  • Influences budgeting and financial performance, including capital vs. expense decisions tied to high-value aviation components
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • Experience in aviation supply chain, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul), or aerospace materials planning environments
  • Strong understanding of aircraft parts planning, including rotable, expendable, and consumable inventory, as well as repair loops and shelf-life considerations
  • Proven ability to manage inventory strategy across multiple locations, balancing service levels, cost, and operational risk
  • Hands-on experience with ERP or maintenance systems (e.g., Maintenix, TRAX, AMOS, SAP, or similar aviation platforms)
  • Strong analytical skillset with the ability to interpret usage trends, lead times, and reliability data (e.g., MTBUR) to inform planning decisions
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making, including capital vs. expense considerations
  • Ability to operate in a cross-functional, high-stakes environment, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Leadership experience managing or mentoring teams, with a focus on building processes, structure, and scalable planning frameworks
