- The role sits within a growing Total Rewards team of 40+, reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Total Rewards and working closely with the VP of Tax and payroll leadership
- Supported by established Payroll and Corporate Tax teams, as well as external vendors such as ADP

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- Manages all aspects of employment tax compliance and planning across a multi-jurisdictional U.S. workforce
- Leads technical research and evaluates tax implications of fringe benefits, M&A activity, global mobility, and stock compensation
- Owns vendor relationships with ADP and drives integration with payroll systems like Workday
- Serves as the go-to expert for employment tax audits, documentation, and mitigation strategies
- Partners cross-functionally with payroll, corporate tax, HR, legal, and external advisors to ensure scalable and compliant processes during a time of major organizational transformation
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- 5+ years of employment tax compliance and strategic planning experience, preferably in large corporate environments or public accounting firms
- Strong knowledge of FICA, FUTA, SUTA, fringe benefit taxation, and federal/state/local employment tax laws
- Experience managing or advising on payroll tax audits, tax reporting, and M&A-related employment tax planning
- Effective communicator who can translate technical tax guidance into actionable insight for leadership and operational teams
- Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP and Workday, with strong vendor management and problem-solving capabilities
- A mindset geared toward ownership, collaboration, and long-term scalability—ideal for someone who enjoys cross-functional work and building processes from the ground up
