- Set and manage logistics strategy by defining short- and long-term goals aligned with organizational priorities and overseeing distribution, warehousing, and transportation.
- Coordinate global logistics operations by partnering with European counterparts, ensuring supplier agreements are met, and maintaining inventory availability.
- Drive performance and financial discipline through KPI reporting, budget monitoring, and implementation of best practices for cost, service, and quality.
- Lead and develop the team by executing customer projects on time and on budget, fostering continuous improvement, and cultivating a culture of learning and growth.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience), with at least 8 years in global supply chain management including warehousing and transportation.
- Proven track record in optimizing supply chains, managing global ocean freight, and ensuring compliance with U.S. and international customs and dangerous goods regulations.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills, with proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with the metric system.
- Committed to continuous learning, adaptable to new systems and procedures, and able to travel domestically as needed.
