THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

  • Join the newly established U.S. operation of an established international manufacturing organization expanding its presence in the Charlotte market.
  • Be one of the first employees supporting a brand-new Charlotte service center and warehouse operation.
  • Report directly to the local Service Director and work closely alongside leadership as the operation is built and scaled.
  • Partner with established manufacturing, purchasing, service, and administrative teams located in Canada.
  • Operate in an entrepreneurial environment where the local team is lean today but positioned for continued growth.

LOCATION

  • Charlotte, NC, full-time onsite at the company’s new warehouse and office facility in the Westinghouse Boulevard area.

WHAT THEY OFFER YOU

  • Permanent, direct-hire opportunity with an established organization investing in its U.S. growth.
  • Ground-floor opportunity to help build a new operation rather than stepping into a mature, rigid environment.
  • Broad exposure across inventory, purchasing, logistics, supplier management, and warehouse operations.
  • Medical and dental insurance along with a 401(k) matching program.
  • Opportunity for the role and responsibilities to evolve as the Charlotte operation continues to expand.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Help establish the inventory, purchasing, and supply chain infrastructure for a newly launched U.S. service center.
  • Take ownership of warehouse and spare-parts inventory, including receiving, shipping, inventory movement, and parts preparation.
  • Support the organization’s transition toward identifying, sourcing, and managing more U.S.-based suppliers.
  • Manage purchasing activity and purchase orders while maintaining accurate inventory within the ERP environment.
  • Serve as a critical connection point between the Charlotte operation, suppliers, field service needs, and the broader Canadian organization.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Experience within inventory management, purchasing, parts, warehouse operations, supply chain coordination, or a similar hands-on function.
  • Comfortable balancing computer-based responsibilities with physically working in a warehouse environment.
  • Experience working within an ERP or inventory management system; exposure to Genius ERP is a plus.
  • Comfortable communicating directly with suppliers and managing purchasing activity through phone and email.
  • Practical, adaptable, and able to independently prioritize changing or urgent needs within a growing operation.
  • Fluent English communication required; French language capabilities are a plus but not required.
