LOCATION
- Primarily on-site around Uptown. There is flexibility but in-person presence is encouraged to support collaboration, mentorship, and professional development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a diverse caseload involving civil, business, construction, and employment litigation, delivering high-quality, client-ready legal work.
- Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents; participate actively in depositions and case strategy.
- Serve as second chair in trials with the opportunity to grow into first chair responsibilities.
- Work closely with partners on case preparation, timelines, and strategy, incorporating feedback to refine legal solutions.
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, maintaining deadlines and meeting billable hour targets.
- Participate in professional development, including community involvement, mentorship, and pro bono work.
BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- 3-5+ years of experience as an attorney focused on litigation, ideally in civil, construction, business, or employment law.
- Proven ability to draft legal documents, manage depositions, and handle matters independently.
- Exposure to second chair trial work is preferred; strong interest in developing as a trial attorney.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and billable hour requirements
