THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING
  • You’ll be joining a well-established, privately held manufacturing organization headquartered in the Charlotte metro area. The company designs and produces highly specialized scientific and laboratory instrumentation that is used by customers across a wide range of industries worldwide.
  • The IT team supports both corporate users and a hands-on manufacturing environment, requiring a balance of strong end-user support, infrastructure knowledge, and operational reliability. LOCATION
  • Monroe, North Carolina (On-site role supporting manufacturing and corporate users)

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Provide day-to-day IT support and system administration across a Microsoft-centric environment
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory, and Azure/Entra
  • Support enterprise technologies including endpoint security, VPNs, VOIP phone systems, Teams, and printers
  • Maintain and support network infrastructure including switches, LAN/WAN connectivity, and helpdesk operations
  • Install, configure, and support servers, PCs, Macs, and end-user hardware (monitors, printers, docking stations, IP phones)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues
  • Act as a primary point of contact for end users and vendors, delivering high-quality customer service
  • Document, review, and improve IT processes, procedures, and support workflows
  • Collaborate with teammates to learn new technologies and continuously improve service delivery

HOW YOU WILL QUALIFY
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory, and helpdesk platforms
  • Hands-on experience supporting PCs, Macs, servers, and peripherals
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and vendor-interaction skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
  • Experience documenting technical processes and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
  • VOIP phone system administration experience
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics F&O or Business Central
  • Experience supporting IT environments within manufacturing or industrial settings
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), preferably in Computer Science OR
  • Associate degree with 4+ years of relevant IT experience
  • IT certifications are a plus (A+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCP/MCSA/MCSE, etc.)
