WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
- Handle and manage property tax returns, data sets, and property tax replacement returns.
- Process incoming mail
- Create and send correspondence letters to taxing authorities
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and calendars to ensure timely tax submissions and accurate rate tracking.
- Process payments and assist with billing through our internal systems
- Update and maintain various department calendars and tracking spreadsheets
- Manage department inbox and respond to emails
- Use Adobe Acrobat to complete and manage PDF forms, including form filling, applying signatures, and preparing filings.
- Manage incoming and scanned mail from our mail service and forward specific documents appropriately.
- Communicate effectively via email, phone, and voice messages to support internal and external stakeholders.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in property tax, leasing, construction, or data-related roles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat (form handling, PDF signing).
- Comfortable managing multiple communications channels and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and self-direct.
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (work experience may substitute).
