WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Handle and manage property tax returns, data sets, and property tax replacement returns.
  • Process incoming mail
  • Create and send correspondence letters to taxing authorities
  • Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and calendars to ensure timely tax submissions and accurate rate tracking.
  • Process payments and assist with billing through our internal systems
  • Update and maintain various department calendars and tracking spreadsheets
  • Manage department inbox and respond to emails
  • Use Adobe Acrobat to complete and manage PDF forms, including form filling, applying signatures, and preparing filings.
  • Manage incoming and scanned mail from our mail service and forward specific documents appropriately.
  • Communicate effectively via email, phone, and voice messages to support internal and external stakeholders.
 
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in property tax, leasing, construction, or data-related roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat (form handling, PDF signing).
  • Comfortable managing multiple communications channels and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and self-direct.
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (work experience may substitute).
